Correspondence and papers relating mainly to the latter stages of the First World War. Among the subjects covered are the entry of the USA into the war in 1916, Salonica and Serbia, and Russia in 1917-18 and the Russian Revolution.

Letters to David Davies, 1932, on a wide range of subjects, mainly political, interspersed with copies of some of his replies. Individual correspondents are noted at file level. Several of the letters congratulate David Davies on his elevation to the peerage at the beginning of the year. File A3/5 comprises correspondence 1930-33, to, from and about J. Vyrnwy Lewis of Caradog Road, Aberystwyth, whom David Davies employed as a research assistant and aide.
