Some of the letters concern the St Athan camp, the Miners' Welfare Fund and the Ocean Area Recreation Union. There is also a copy of the report, November 1929, of the Welfare Organiser's Report on the Ocean Area Recreation Union.
The letters cover a wide range of Lord Davies's business interests and investments including the Cambrian Mills, the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society, the Celotex Company of Grest Britain, and the Newtown Masonic Lodge. There is also material concerning the drawing up of a draft Power of Attorney on behalf of Lord Davies in 1937.
Among the subjects discussed in the correspondence are the redemption of war stock, the potential payment of death duties by members of the Davies family, the sale of securities, the purchase of shares and stock, banking matters, and the valuation of estates.
