The letters cover a wide range of subjects, including educational matters in Wales, Davies's researches and writings, Lloyd George's War Memoirs, Lord Davies's domestic arrangements, and agricultural matters and the National Farmers' Union. The correspondents include Sir George Hamer, 1944, Professor Charles Webster, Aberystwyth, 1928, Wynn P. Wheldon, Bangor, 1928. There are also a few personal papers including an inventory of Lord Davies's effects at his flat at Thorney House, London, 3 December 1934.
