Mrs Strachey to Levy,

Desires him to send a copy of the Senior letter dated 1814, Dec. 9; quotes at length from letter by her husband of March 5, 1912 [F95] which insisted that recipient should not write anything dealing with Senior's private life; demands that he send MS of his book on Senior's religion for her scrutiny; objects to his publishing this without her permission; Oliver Senior now represents the family. Copy.

Levy to Mrs Strachey,

Lengthy letter explaining: Levy's motives; the attitude of Prof. Seligman; his book on Senior's religious views; the attitude of Oliver Senior. Insists that recipient deals with writer directly.

Mrs Strachey to Seligman,

Explains position re Levy; Oliver Senior's opposition to publication by Levy of book on Senior's religion; writer has retained MSS of Levy's book, which she will keep until missing MSS in Levy's possession are returned; writer is progressing with her book. Copy.
