Original bundle of papers including a letter from Thomas William James of HM slooop [illegible], describing a tempestuous cruise on the coast of Norway, including the taking of a Danish sloop with about 100 casks of herrings, and asking if his uncle could be brought to terms, or could the lease be sold to advantage, June 1809; a memorandum suggesting how to divide Maeslydog, Tanyrallt and Lluastlloye (86a. in all), p. Llangwyryfon, the joint property of William Lewis [of Llannerchaeron], esq., and Rev. Alban Thomas Jones Gwynne [of Mynachdy], Jan. 1810. The rest of the papers are vouchers of William Lewis of Llannerchaeron, March 1807-May 1813.
