Pemb., and m's in the p. of Saint Ishmael alias Saint Ishmaels, a m. called Bicton and a m. purchased from Sir John Phillips, the manor of Hayeston, alias Hayston, a capital m. and a m. called Steveston and Gibbons Land, m's called Wilkins Moore, Egbridge Moore, Coppy Bush, Upper fford, Lower fford and Woodstone, the house and garden by the church of Stainton, m's and mills called Sadbury, Waterston, Hayeston, Hayston Mill and Scoveston Mill, a m. and ploughland lying in the 'townredd' and field of Stainton, a m. and three bovates in the said 'townredd' and fields, and m's which were formerly the estate of William Mordannt, esq., and Ann his wife, p's Stainton, Walwyns Castle, Llanstadwell and Rhose Markett, and a m. called Slade, alias Little Slade, alias Onesta Slade, p. Saint Martins, being a parcel, or reputed parcel of the manor of Haverfordwest, all of which were allotted to 1's parents as the share of his mother who was one of the daughters and co-heirs of Daniel Evans of Peterwell, dec., in 1723. Recites the deed of partition of 1723, that 1's parents mortgaged the premises for £1,000 in 1727, and further mortgaged the same in 1740 for another £1,000, that in 1742 the premises were conveyed in trust for 600 years to raise £10,000 to provide for the younger children, that an act of Parliament enacted that the premises should be sold to pay off the debts encumbaring the estate, and that £9,000 of the £10,000 had been paid to the younger children by Richard Combe, acting for himself and as a trustee for others.
