Has sent WEP's letter re 'volunteers' to Sec. of State with a covering letter, of which he sends a copy (905a). Then at work on house at Hafod [after the fire?]. The formation of a regiment of yeomanry in Cardiganshire under command of Mr Powell - this is unacceptable upon Mr Powell's terms. Persons enrolled would have to serve without any pay or allowance [905b from Whitehall].
