[The Cliffs, Lle Cul]

Limestone cliffs under a bright blue sky. On the left hand side of the photo there is evidence of either a geological fault or possibly an angular unconformity.

[The Estuary, Laugharne]

A bright blue sea with a sandy beach and headland protruding into the sea in the middle of the left hand side of the canvas. Just above centre is a small sandbank with a larger one above it and to the right. A thin strip of land is visible on the horizon.

Typescript entitled 'The Lion of the Pampa' by Evelyn Lloyd. A manuscript note on the front page reads "Written in 1936-37 and founded on fact. The original bandit was Barioletti, of the Pampa, Argentina, who was still living in the 1930s".
