[Cattle at Sunset]

In the foreground Welsh Black cattle graze in a field, in the middle distance is a cluster of farm buildings overlook the sea, into which a red sun is setting.

[Cattle grazing]

Cattle grazing in the foreground amongst rushes and buttercups. Beyond them is a lush valley floor divided into a patchwork of small fields. Behind them is a steep, partially wooded valley side.

[Cattle, coat & mountains]

A framed oil painting photographed on an easel with a Kodak Colour Control Patch at the top. On the right hand side a coat is hanging on a wall, to the left a field with two cows seen through a doorway. In the distance is a range of mountains.

[Cave, Puerto Madryn]

A small round cave just above the present day beach level. Believed to be one of the caves excavated for shelter by the earliest Welsh settlers on their arrival in 1865. See 'A Wider Sky' (Gomer, 1991) p124.

[Caves, Puerto Madryn]

Small caves in the limestone cliffs at Puerto Madryn. Kyffin Williams mentions a trip to Puerto Madryn on p.155 of 'A Wider Sky' (Gomer, 1991)
