Doman 1983 [VII]

An oval mounted naive painting of a middle aged couple standing by the stern of a wooden boat. The same couple appear in a number of other paintings by the same artist.

Lucenia Hanii (sic)

In 'A Wider Sky' (Gomer, 1991) on page 190 KW writes of his time in Tierra del Fuego "... I saw a delicate pink flower with grey-green leaves. It looked like a Fuegian edelweiss. I took a photograph of it that later appeared in an atlas of wildlife. Its name was Lucenia hanii."

Chess at Pwllfanogl

A framed watercolour of three children engrossed in a game of chess. Behind them is a grandfather clock and a Welsh dresser. Below the painting is a printed label with the title and the name of the artist which is indistinct, but possibly reads 'Robin Stamp'.
