Deed whereby John Evans of Maesegwig, co. Denbigh, gentleman, and Elizabeth Jones of the same, widow, his mother, in consideration of a marriage already solemnly carried out between the said J. Evans and Mary his wife, daughter of Richard Parry of Rhosfynech, co. Carnarvon, gentleman, convey to the said R. Parry and Robert Humphreys of Eglwys-fâch, co. Denb., yeoman, a messuage in Maesegwig aforesaid called Brynker, a messuage there called kil y Llidiart alias Tyddyn ucha with appurtenants, land, etc., called Pen Brynker, in trust for the marrying parties, subject to certain specified covenants and conditions, sixty pounds being paid as consideration money to the said Jo Evans. Signed and sealed by the parties. Witnesses: Sampson Roberts, clerk, John Wynne of Coed Coch, Edward Price. English. Vellum. Endorsed with receipt by J. Evans for the consideration money. Signed and attested as above. Same date. And with a memorandum of agreement for J. Evans to charge the premises with £30, in addition to £100 so conditioned. Signatures. Mark signature and attestation as above. Endorsed also: "John Evans of Brynker's Settlement per lease and release, date 22 and 23 October, 1725". And in a later hand: "This Deed belongs to John Wynne of Coed Coch Esqre. as the Purchaser of Brynker, the Counterpart is left with Mr. Robert Parry Evans, E.O." i.e. Edward Oldfield, attorney.
