Deed made between (i) Gabriel Lloyd of Peniarth, co. Denbigh, gentleman; (ii) John Hughes of Bodorryn, same co., and Catherine his wife, and Mary Hughes, spinster, their daughter; and (iii) John ffoulks of Wen-Allt, same co., gentleman, and John Wynne of Coed Coch, same co., gentleman, being the settlement on the marriage of the said G. Lloyd and Mary Hughes about to be solemnized, whereby, for £200 part of the marriage portion of the said Mary, and other considerations, the said G. Lloyd grants to the said J.F. and J. This document which has the form of a grant, bargain and sale, is virtually a settlement of the property of the elder J. Wynne, and his daughter; upon the younger J. Wynne. It is endorsed: "John Wynne the elder and Gay. Wynne to John Wynne the younger Settlement.".
