Tripartite Indenture between 1. John Ffoulkes of Tincadvel, co. Denbigh, and Llowarch Ffoulkes his son and heir, 2. Robert Gruffith of Pendarad co. Denb., gentleman, and John Rutter of Bryngwynescob, co. Flint, gentleman, and 3. Catherine Salusburie of Dynorben, co. Denb., and Ffoulke Rutter, third son of the said John Rutter, - being the marriage settlement of the said Llowarch Ffoulkes and Anne Salusburie one of the grandchildren of the said Catherine - whereby a messuage in Tincadvel occupied by the said John Ffoulkes, and other property are conveyed to the second parties in trust for the said John and others with specified uses and remainders, etc. Signatures of John and Llowarch Ffoulkes. Denb., gentleman, and John Evans of the same, gentleman, his eldest son and heir, (ii) John Salusbury of Brynybarkitt, same co., gentleman, and Rees Ffoulkes of Denbigh, gentlemen, and (iii) John Wynne of Trovarth, same co., gentleman, and Evan Davies of the same, gentleman, whereby the said Richard and John grant to the said John and Rees, certain specified messuages, lands, etc., in Trovarth, called Ty yn y Nant, Maes gronw, Cae uwch ben y Tal y werglodd bâch, in Maesegwig, co. David Lloyd the younger of Bodnod, same co., gentleman, and Edward Lloyd of Pentre, same co., gentleman, and iii. David Lloyd the elder of Bodnod aforesaid, Esq., being a settlement on the impending marriage of the said R. Lloyd and Margarett Lloyd, a daughter of the said David Lloyd, whereby David E. Lloyd, the second party, are constituted trustees of a messuage called Penniarth, in Penniarth aforesaid and another called Pen y Bryn, and others specified and named with their appurtenances in full detail, for the benefit of the marrying parties, with conditions, reversions, and appointments, etc. Parts in money £230. Tripartite indenture made between (i) Thomas Coutts of the Strand, co. Middx., Esq.; (ii) Sir Watkin Williams Wynn of Wynnstay, co. Denb., Bart., and (iii) John Wynn of Coed Coch, co. Denb., Esq., whereby the said Thomas Coutts, by the direction and appointment of the said Sir W.W. Wynn, sells to the said J. Wynn, for the sum of £618, the messuage or tenement with lands etc., appurtenant thereto, forty acres and eight perches subject to certain specified conditions, and undertake to produce certain documents of which a schedule is given at the foot of the deed covering the period from 1 Feb. 1680 to 9 March 1801, by means of which the descent of the holding may be deduced. Signatures and seals as in No. 2612. Witnesses: Anthy Burrow, Ja. Parkinson. W. Richards. Endorsed with receipt for the consideration money, viz. £618. Pencil note added, "£132 for timber". On one copy (a) is written "With the compliments of the writer", and on the other (b), in a different hand: "From The Revd. W. Holland, Cold Norton, Essex", together with the following note by [Mr.] H[ughes] of K[inmel] - "History and General Pedigree of the Holland family in Wales, published in the Archaeologia Cambrensis, very imperfect". Denbigh, giving notice to Mr. John Tyson and Mr. Joseph Fletcher, to quit the mines and messuages in the several parishes of Dremerchion and Cwm, demised to them by a lease, dated 14 September 1859, since they have neglected to pay the royalties and to work the same, and to deliver up possession thereof to him or his agent, Mr. Peter Thomson.

Typewritten copies of fourteen letters found at Pennant, the originals being in the possession of Mrs. Alan Gough, Gelliwig, Pwllheli. Twelve of these are from John Wynne of Coed Coch to Richard Lloyd, esq., 9 Coney Court, Gray's Inn, London, and range between 11 December, 1774, and 24 February, 1778. The thirteenth is from the Rev. Ed. Edwards, Pennant, to his son, the Rev. H. Holland Edwards, a student at Christ Church, oxford, and is dated 20 July, 1778. The last, undated, is from the latter to his father. All the letters relate to personal, family, and business matters.
