Robert Corbett dyed Anno 1645 before whose death John Pryse of Eskerweddan married the eldest daughter of the said Robert Anno 1641. Upon which marriage the said John settled his whole estate upon him and his wife for the terms of theire lives & after theire decease to the children of the said John begotten upon the body of the said Mary & in default of such issue to Vincent Corbett sonne & heire to the said Robert & for confirmation of the said estate upon the said Vincent he sealed a Statute bond of the penalty of £4,000 . Vincent never saw any deed or writing whatsoever before or since the Statute came to his custody which is not above [--] years since. Vide the bill & answere'.
