Denb., on 18 Oct. 1620, at which time he stood possessed of a m. called Chappell Feilde (10 a.) in Oswestre, Shropshire, 10 m's, 2 cottages, 3 barns, etc., and 125 a. of land in Oswestre, t. Yfton, [p. Oswestry], and t. Porkington, [p. Selatyn], 1 m. and 40 a. of land in t. Lledrod, p. Llansilin, co. Denb., 4 m's, 1 toft, 2 gardens and 21 a. of land in p. Llanarmon Mynyth Mawn, 1 m. and 42 a. of land in t. Keele, [p. Llangedwyn], and 1 m. and 25 a. of land in t. Dwyffrwd, [p. Llanwddyn], co. Mont., which premises in Shropshire, except Chappell Feilde, the said H.M. by his will, dated 17 Oct. 1620, devised to his daughter Abigail Morice for 8 years after his death, and Chappell Feilde he devised to his son William Maurice for 21 years, the said W.M. to pay an annuity of £8 to the said A.M. during the said term of 8 years and after the expiration of the said term and for the remainder of the said term of 21 years an annuity of £6 to A.M., the premises in t. Keele he devised to his son Oliver Maurice for the life of the said OM paying an annuity of £6 to An during the said term of 8 years and to pay an annuity of £10 to William Locar for his life from the premises in t. Lledrod, and that H.M.'s son and heir is Davyet Morice aged 191/2. Latin.
