Will of Mary Seddon of Chester, widow of James Seddon of Ormskirk, co. Lancaster, malster. Testatrix, under a power in her marriage settlement, dated ii May, 1721, having had no children, appointed her moiety of messuages and lands in Rake, Mannor, Moore, Broughton, and Saltney, co. Flint, (which, her husband having become bankrupt, his creditors had allowed her to enjoy for her support subject to the payment of £100 and interest to Mrs. Mary Warrington of Chester, spinster,) as follows :- "To the use of my niece, Susannah Crew of Chester, spinster, but charged with the payment of £25 each to my nephew, Samuel Crew, and my niece, Katherine Crew, the brother and sister of the said Susannah Crew, and with the payment of the abovementioned £100 and interest."
