Writer gives information relating to his pedigree and title to Mr Powel's estate of Nanty Kar, which has been about sixty years in 'our' possession; writer's best compliments to Mr Jones.

Mr Edwards, who lives in Spilman Street, will send a copy of the bill in Chancery filed against recipient and against the other executors of Mr Provan, and a draft of recipient's answer, to Mr Edward Jones, attorney, of 'your' town; recipient may sleep at Mr Edwards's house when he comes down to be sworn to the answer.

Cha[rle]s W. Lloyd died in hospital here on 5 Jan. 1816; £2 for arrears of pay and the amount of the sale of his effects will be paid to any relation who has a right to claim it. Copy.

Writer sends recipient a copy of the rule of reference by Thomas Jones of Carmarthen, esq., in the cause of recipient a[gain]st Rice Price, esq.; on his return from London writer will fix a time and place for holding the reference.

Writer knows no reason why he should humour Mr Morgan Lloyd, who has attacked him in many different ways; he therefore can't submit to what recipient desired, and begs a few lines saying that he shall be paid the amount of his bill with costs. Copy.

In consequence of the death of Mr Jones's mother, writer will wait to hear from him concerning Jones of Nantycarr's business.
