Title deeds for miscellaneous properties in the township of Trefarclawdd, mostly purchased by Watkin Kyffin and Sir William Williams of Glasoced; some of them may have belonged previously to the estate of Richard Edwards of Trefonnen (q.v.). Recurrent names include the Lloyd family of Llanforda, and ap Howell/Powell, Jennings and Griffith of Trefarclawdd. All the files have assorted contents, so readers may need to examine several bundles to locate deeds belonging to the same property. London, Gray’s Inn chambers, title deeds and related documents,

Documents relating to chambers in Gray’s Inn, London, 1623-1694, being mostly leases made following a 60-year grant to Sir William Denny in 1628 for the purpose of extending the building, subsequently known as Denny’s Building, Holborn Court. The files comprise leases, 1623-1647; papers to prove title, 1642-1672; leases, 1651-1668; orders of the pension, receipts, etc., 1651-1685; leases, 1669-1694; and a covenant for payment of an annuity, 1688. The documents reveal much about the structure, layout, furnishings and tenants of the buildings.
