Writs and warrants, etc., separated from those for the manor of Gower, some for the borough of Swansea and others for the borough and manor of Swansea. Among the miscellanea are depositions and declarations, bills of costs, lists of arrears of rents and heriots, etc. (1). N.D Note that Rees Williams of the parish of Langevelach proposes to take a lease from the corporation the ruins of an old wall on the brow of the hill near the Long house at 10s. 6d. p.a. and also the proper dues to the portreeve. (2). N.D Proposal by Griffith David to take a lease of the Town Gorss, and the waste ground from Brinmill bridge to the upper pond of the upper mill for 3 lives, at 10s. 6d. p.a. (3). Note of a description of a bank or piece of ground lying at the Strand having the bank called Robinsons Bank on the north and the River Tawe on the east and the bank formerly called Honor Bevan's Bank on the south and the Strand on the west, reserving keelage, wharfage and moorage and all other duties, etc. [61].
