Grant by Blanch Herbert, widow, relict of William Herbert, late of Troy, kt., dec., and Charles Herbert of Troy, esq., son and heir of the said William Herbert, to John ap John of the parish of Llandenny and Jenette, his wife, of a grist mill, in the parish of Llannyssen, with stank and water course and a garden and parcel of land adjoining, with a meadow in the parish of Llansoe with appurtenances, the mill being called Llanveyre myll, and the meadow, Gwyrlod Hawkyn, and lying near the stream called Olwye, which meadow Morgan John now holds for term of years, to hold of the chief lords of the fee by the rents and services due and accustomed; 40s. per annum for mill, garden and parcel of land, and for the meadow after the end of the term of Morgan ap John, 6s. 4d.; 5s. after the death of each tenant as a heriot. Appointment of Thomas Phillip Gwillim of Llandewey and William John ap Ieuan of Usk as attorneys to give seisin.

Award of Edward Myryk, clerk, Sir Phelip Yevan, vicar of Langome, John Morice ap John and Morgan Thomas Morice, arbitrators chosen by Thomas Hughe of Biston, yeoman, of one part and Davyd Phelippe Houell of Lansoe of the other, on right title and occupation and certain lands and tenements called Courte pyrs, in the parish of Wolfesnewton (excepting any action which may arise for acquitting the said David against one Phelippe Morgan of Kydewely, gent. which they award to David Phelippe Howell in fee according to his former estate, Thomas Hughes and Margaret his wife to make a further estate therein when required; David to make a lease of the premises to Thomas for 3 years, paying at Michaelmas 20s., and 13s. to the lord of the manor yearly.

Admittance of John David William to all the lands, arable, meadow, feeding, pasture and wood, which were in the hands of William ap Hoskyn, deceased, containing 25 acres lying in the lordship of Raglan between the stream called Gwewthorn on one side and Forest newith on the other, and abutting on the tenement of John Thomas tailor, on one head and the tenement of Yoroth weithe on the other, for the lives of John Charles ap John and Bridgitte vergh John his children. Rent: 8s. 4d. per annum, suit of court, heriot and 2 capons at the Feast of the Circumcision and all taxes, tallages, rents, customs and services as the customary tenants there are accustomed to do. It has been showed to Commissioners in the Marches of Wales that the bill of complaint directed to them by David Phellip Howell, Thomas Phellip Gwilim, John and William T. Lewes against Nycolas William ap Ieuan and John William ap Ieuan, touching lands of the plaintiff's inheritance, and directed to Sir Thomas Morgan, kt., and Antony Welshe, esq., for examination and ordering, that the plaintiffs alleged that Thomas and Antony "be not indifferent to order the said matter". The three of them are to order the same. Given at the town of Brecknock.
