Tunes by John Edwards, Llangadog, William Collins, Aberystwyth, W. Harrison, Aberdare, T. Morgan, John Davies, Nant-y-glo, Morgan Griffiths, Dowlais, David Morgans, Llechryd, D. James, Brynberian, are included. There is an index of the names of tunes.

The earlier part of the book contains a chorus - 'Trwy'r Nef Byrth'; a song - 'Pan welem yn yr eglur wawl'; a quartette - 'Pob dyn byw'; an air - 'Nebo'; and an anthem - 'Dyn a aned o wraig'. Additions by J. T. Lewis include tunes of his own composition and others by W. J. Hughes, Rhyl.
