Letters, 1917-1918, from Private John Roberts of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers, to his parents in Tanygrisiau, Wales. Private Roberts was taken prisoner in Germany on 23 March 1918, and included is a notification of his death, 1 August 1918, stating that he died in an accident there 31 May 1918, and was buried at East Cemetery Gelsenkirchen, together with a photograph of his grave. = Llythyrau, 1917-1918, oddi wrth y milwr John Roberts o'r Royal Welsh Fusiliers, at ei rieni yn Nhanygrisiau, Cymru. Cafodd ei garcharu yn yr Almaen ar 23 Mawrth 1918, a cheir nodyn, 1 Awst 1918, yn dweud iddo farw mewn damwain ar 31 Mai y flwyddyn honno ac iddo gael ei gladdu ym mynwent East Cemetery Gelsenkirchen, ynghyd â ffotograff o'i fedd.
