Cyfansoddiadau amrywiol a gyflwynwyd i gystadlaethau llenyddol a cherddorol Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Cymru, 1887-2019. Yn eu plith ceir awdlau, pryddestau, cywyddau, englynion, englynion ysgafn, baledi, sonedau, straeon byrion, blogiau, llên meicro a dramâu. Ceir gweithiau ar gyfer y Fedal Ryddiaith, Gwobr Daniel Owen, Ysgoloriaethau Emyr Feddyg a Geraint Morris, ynghyd ag emyn-donau a chyfansoddiadau Tlws y Cerddor a chyfansoddi dawns. Cyflwynwyd cystadlaethau i ieuenctid a chystadleuaeth y gadair a thlws rhyddiaith i ddysgwyr ac i'r rhai sydd wedi byw yn y Wladfa ar hyd eu hoes. = A variety of literary and musical compositions entered at National Eisteddfodau, 1887-2018, including odes and poetry in free metre, ballads, short stories, blogs, micro literature and plays. Entries for the Prose Medal, Daniel Owen Memorial Prize, Emyr Feddyg and Geraint Morris Scholarships, together with musical compositions such as the Musicians' Medal, hymn-tunes and dance composition are also included. Competitions for young people, Welsh learners including a chair and prose competition and a competition for those who have lived in Patagonia throughout their lives have been introduced.

Notebooks and other volumes containing Welsh poetry, including drafts, fragments and notes, mostly by or in the hand of Taliesin ab Iolo (T6/1-22).
Seven volumes (T6/16-22) appear to been used by school pupils to copy out English poetry, later re-purposed by Taliesin for his own Welsh poetry.

Barddoniaeth Gymraeg (2)

Welsh poetry, including drafts, fragments and notes, mostly by or in the hand of Taliesin ab Iolo, comprising: loose poems which are either complete or relatively substantial (T7/1), with two further bundles of more fragmentary poems, drafts and notes (T7/2-3); three bundles of loose poetry retained in original order (T7/4-6); and items in hands other than that of Taliesin ab Iolo (T7/7).

Eisteddfod y Fottas

Poetical compositions, 1824-1827, submitted for competition at 'Eisteddfod y Fottas' (the Boot Eisteddfod), held by Cymdeithas Cadair Merthyr Tydfil at the Boot Inn (Arwydd y Fottas), Merthyr Tydfil, together with some adjudications (T9/1, 2 folders). Also included are copies, 1823-1827, of posters advertising the eisteddfodau (T9/2).
Taliesin Williams was secretary to Cymdeithas Cadair Merthyr Tydfil. Some of the compositions were printed in Awenyddion Morganwg; neu, Farddoniaeth Cadair Merthyr Tudful (Merthyr Tydfil, [1826]).

A scribbling tablet in the hand of J. H. Davies containing extracts and notes from manuscripts in the British Museum, the National Library of Wales and Cardiff Free Library and from printed sources largely on the correspondence of, and poetry by or relating to, the Morris brothers ('Morysiaid Môn'), Goronwy Owen ('o Fôn'), Evan Evans ('Ieuan Fardd') and Edward Williams ('Iolo Morganwg').

A composite volume made up of copies of Yr Odydd Cymreig, Cyf. 1 (1842), Rhif 2, 3, 4, and articles on 'Llyfrgelloedd ' (Y Traethodydd, 1858-9), 'Y Bardd o'r Nant a'i Waith' (Y Traethodydd, 1875), 'Y Bardd o'r Nant a'r Cerddi Bedydd' (Y Traethodydd, 1876), and 'Sallwyr Cymraeg', a review of Twr Dafydd: sef Salmau Dafydd wedi eu cyfaddasu ar Gân ... gan y Parchedig William Rees, Liverpool (Dinbych: Thomas Gee, 1875), followed by some miscellaneous press-cuttings.
