Notebook of Henry Harris, Ystrad Rhondda, begun in 1921, containing lists of place-names and field names in the Rhondda. Some of the names are taken from a tithe map of 1847 (ff. i, 1-51).
Also included is a typescript list of the same place-names, on loose sheets, the names numbered and in alphabetical order (ff. 52-98); typescript and manuscript notes, [?1938], on the Rhondda in the year 1737, including transcripts of Overseers of the Poor accounts (ff. 103-109); notes, 1938, relating to bird life in the Rhondda (f. 110); and three letters to Harris, October 1921-May 1928, including two from M. H. Jones, Penllwyn (ff. 99-102).

Resolutions relating to Holywell lead miners
A copy of resolutions passed at a meeting held at Holywell, 1816, under the chairmanship of David Pennant, Downing to consider the distressed state of lead miners and others in the locality as a result of the duties payable on the exportation of lead to the Continent; together with a holograph letter, 1816, from R. Lushington at the Treasury Chambers to Sir Thomas Mostyn of Mostyn, stating that the export duty on lead had been suspended for a period of three years.
A composite volume of the period c. 1764-1765 containing transcripts and drafts of reports on education in England, Wales, and Ireland, and of other papers on education, collected by a Russian commissioner with a view to establishing an educational system in Russia. A register of services by boars, 1927-1943, recording sows serviced by a boar owned by the Evans family of Old Hall farm, Llanidloes, Montgomeryshire.
The register was issued by Montgomery[shire] County Council in accordance with the Swine Fever Order, 1911, and records names and addresses of sows' owners.
A register, 1570-1671, of the corvisers or shoemakers of Ruthin, containing a copy of the petition of the shoemakers to Ambrose, Earl of Warwick and Anne, his wife, for a grant of privileges, articles agreed upon by the fraternity, accounts of money lent, 1570-1571, and lists of members of the fraternity in the original hand to 1593, and continued to 1671.
