James, Brynberian, are included. There is an index of the names of tunes.

J[enki]n Morgan [of Llechryd], and John Broderip ('organist of Wells and Sipton Mallet'), and numerous unattributed compositions; hymns; 'The Scale of Musick Called the Gamut'; etc.

Copious manuscript annotations have been added by Nicholas Bennett. Also bound or pasted down in the volume are a note on provenance by E[van] D. The titles include 'O na bawn i fel Efe'; 'Llawen Floeddiwch'; 'Caned Preswylwyr y Graig'; 'Dyrchaf fy llygaid'' 'Mola di'r Arglwydd o Seion'; 'Myned i Fynu'; 'Beth wyliedydd am y nos?'; 'Y Gwlithyn'; and 'Y fordaith'.

Manuscript volumes, previously in the possession of musicians, collectors or precentors, and accumulated by Dr J. Lloyd Williams. Many were evidently acquired by him from J. H. Davies, Cwrt-mawr, and contain mainly folk songs and hymn tunes, recorded in eighteenth and nineteenth century Wales.
