Indenture, whereby Lewis Mathewes of Newtowne, co. Mont., gent. (in consideration of a marriage already solemnized between him and Johane, the daughter of Edward Jones of Newtowne aforesaid, and of her portion, paid by said Edward Jones), grants to William Mathewes of Dyffryn LIanfair in p. Newtowne, gent., and Thomas Jones of Newtowne aforesaid a m. and lands called Pen y bryn in Dyffryn LIanfair aforesaid in the tenure of Robert Owen upon trust for the said Lewis Mathewes for his life, with remainder (subject to a life estate to said Johane in a moiety of the said property) to his heirs by the said Johane, with remainders over.
