Indenture, dated 29 Sept. 1738, being a mortgage for £150 from Elizabeth Bridge of Chester (widow and administratrix of the goods of Thomas Bridge of Chester, feltmaker, dec., and administratrix of the goods of Thomas Bridge of Chester, feltmaker, dec., who was the father of her said dec. husband, Thomas Bridge, not administered by her said husband and Jonathan Gouldson, dec., who were the executors of the said Thomas Bridge, the father) and Edward Bridge of Bodvarry, co. Denb., gent., to Helena Bunbury and Anne Bunbury of Broughton, Cheshire, spinsters, of several houses, shops, &c. on the north side of Foregate Street, Chester (formerly the Red Lyon Inne), to which the said Elizabeth Bridge is entitled for a term of 1,000 years from 24 June 1693 by a mortgage or lease thereof, the reversion in fee being vested in the said Edward Bridge.
