Indenture, being a lease for a year (so that a grant by release might be made) from Sir Edmond Thomas of Wenvoe Castle, co. Glam., bart, to Bartholomew Greenwood of p. St George, Hanover Square, Middlesex, gent., of a house and garden and 293/4 a. of land in p. St George, co. Glam., called Lower vord and comprising the closes called Kae-heer, Wern, and Bister-row, all adjoining the house and containing 8 a., Waine goch (2 a.), Byrws (5 a.), Kae olrey (4 a.), Gile's acre (11/2 a.), Dwy erw broam (2 a.), Dwy erw kae bach (4 a.), Gwaine y byrrws (11/2 a.), Shortlands (11/2 a.), Erw pool (1 a.), Wain goch (1/4 a.), another quarter of an a. in Waingoch, a quarter of an a. by Port y langlon, and a quarter of an a. between the lands of the late Dr William Bassett on the south, the lands of the late Lord Pembroke on the west, and the lands late of William Nicholls on the north and east, all the said closes being between the lands of the late Lord Pembroke and the highway leading from St George's to St Nicholas.
