A miscellaneous collection of hymn-tunes, anthems and a few traditional and popular tunes from Wales and elsewhere, perhaps compiled in the mid-nineteenth century and comprising various quires, bifolia and single sheets in a number of hands of the first half of the century, and bearing watermarks between 1817 (ff. 10, 24) and 1845 (f. 93). It includes works attributed to John Williams (f. 13), David Harries, Carno (ff. 14-16, 25 recto-verso, 28 verso-30, 55 verso-8, 62-6 verso) and David Richards ('Dewi Silin') (ff. 17-19 verso, inverted text). Accompanying words, where present, are mainly in Welsh. Also included are memoranda and verse in Welsh (ff. 26 verso-8) and a few annotations by Mair Richards, Darowen (f. 16a).

Many of the tunes were copied, 1817-1825, by the Reverend Lewis Richards (1799-1860) (ff. 9-14, 47, 49, 53, 78, 87, 93, 99, 116, 126), and one tune was copied, 1819, by the Reverend John Jenkins ('Ifor Ceri', 1770-1829) (f. 119).

Tune book, mid-nineteenth century, formerly in the possession of Daniel Jenkins of Blaenpennal, Cardiganshire, and perhaps compiled by him, containing hymn-tunes. Accompanying words, where present, are mainly in Welsh. The first section (ff. i-xi) includes an index and a few Welsh hymn texts, as well as further tunes.

Tune book, first compiled in the late eighteenth century, of the Reverend J. Lloyd, Tal-y-bont, containing psalm-tunes attributed to William Wilson (f. 52), John Williams ('Ioan Rhagfyr', 1740-1821), Dolgellau (ff. 4 verso-6) and others, together with hymn-tunes and anthems, copied between 1790 and 1820, with some accompanying words in English and Welsh. Amongst the tunes is the 'Song of the 3 Holy Children' (f. 46 verso-7). Additions to the original volume include ff. 83-91, written c. 1818-1819 (cf watermark, and f. 89) and ff. 92-7, written c. 1832 (watermark).

Parry, 1828) bound with a manuscript tune book (ff. 26-45), second quarter of the nineteenth century, containing hymn-tunes and accompanying Welsh words.

A copy of John Harris, Grisiau Cerdd Arwest: sef cyfarwyddiadau eglur a hyrwydd at ddysgu peroriaeth (2nd ed., Abertawy, 1825), bound with a substantial manuscript tune book, second quarter of the nineteenth century, containing hymn-tunes and anthems with Welsh titles, some written in the bardic alphabet.

A copy of David Roberts, Gramadeg Cerddorol, yn gynwysedig mewn tair rhan (Bala, 1848), bound with two further sections of printed hymn-tunes and anthems taken from unidentified sources, and followed by a manuscript tune book (ff. 13 verso-40), second half of the nineteenth century, containing hymn-tunes, with some accompanying Welsh words.

An imperfect copy of Y Psallwyr, neu, Psalmau Dafydd ... (Caerfyrddin, 1814) ('For Mrs Bevan's Schools'), with additional leaves containing hymns, ? of which two are attributed to Sarah Williams and to Henry James, Cwmbach; and ? building accounts due to W.
