The pocket book of Evan Evans, who variously describes himself as of Llanina, 1794, and of Castlehowel, 1797, and as printer, bookbinder, schoolmaster, scholar, florist and valentine maker, 1796. The book contains hymn-tunes, the music and English words of 'La Carmagnole', verses beginning 'All un swyn roi ffrwyn ar Ffraingc', 'englynion i ofyn ffon gelynen hynod ar lun T gan y Parchedig Josiah Rhys, 1790', 'Marwnad i'r Degymeu', 'Ychydig eiriau ar farwolaeth Jane Davies o Gastell-Hywel yn y flwyddyn 1794', 'Darogan Myrddin', and lines on the death of Charles Evans, Gwernan; an account of a prophet seen by many gentlemen in England but only by the Reverend William Edwards and Thomas George, 'Llanrhwst', in Wales; valentines, and miscellaneous songs and notes.

A tune book of Thomas Jenkins, Llanychaearn, co. Cardigan, 1821?, containing hymn-tunes and psalm-tunes by John [David] Edwards ('Aelod o Goleg Iesu Rhydychen') [aft. of Rhosymedre], Thomas Jenkins, Dd. J[enki]n Morgan [of Llechryd], and John Broderip ('organist of Wells and Sipton Mallet'), and numerous unattributed compositions; hymns; 'The Scale of Musick Called the Gamut'; etc.

An imperfect volume of hymn-tunes, psalm-tunes, etc., some of which are attributed to John Davies, John Roberts (Wrexham), S. Standly, John Evans, John Jeffreys, Win. Pugh, Thos. Evans (Swansea), Robert Mills, Hugh Evans, etc. At the beginning is an incomplete list of titles.

A volume containing Latin quatrains recording the succession of the Persian dynasty ('Monarchia Persica'), the Greek or Macedonian dynasty ('Monarchia Graeca seu Macedonica'), and Roman Consuls and Roman Emperors to the XV century; 'Texts about the effects of our Lords Death', signed 'Jo[h]n Evans'; a short treatise on 'Sacraments'; 'An Analitical Table about ye points of ye Baptismal Vow'; hymns; verses entitled 'Perrirhanterium'; miscellaneous quotations; etc.

A volume of sermons by David Lewis, Pantwdog [Cynwyl Elfed], Griff. Jones (at Cynwyl [Elfed], Llanllwch Church, Ll[an] D[eilo] F[awr] Church, and Abernant Church, 1735-6), Lewis Jones (at Pen y Rhyw), Jen. Tho., S. F., R. H., L. P., Da. Jones (at Ll[an] D[eilo], 1735), Thos. Jones (at Troed rhyw meirch), Thos. Morris (1736/7), Abel Francis, W. P., Jac. Rees, Enoch Francis, Jno. Richd., Sa. T., Jon. Harr., Jno. Cob., W. J., David Jenkins (at Pantwdog), etc., together with a few hymns and one early nineteenth-century sermon. According to a note on the last page the volume was 'Written by W. Evan'.

The tune book of William Jones, 1800, containing psalm-tunes, hymn-tunes, anthems, etc., by Hugh Jones, Pen y Bwth, Llandwrog, W[illia]m Hughes, Bryn y Beddau, John W[illia]ms, Dolgellau, Robert Griffith, Caernarvon, John Evans, Ty mawr, Llanddeiniolen, and John Jeffreys. Many of the pieces are unattributed. Written on the inside covers and elsewhere are a metrical psalm by W[illiam] Williams, Llandegai, and unsigned hymns.

A volume, first compiled in the late eighteenth century, containing psalm-tunes, hymn-tunes, Christmas hymn-tunes, with some accompanying English words, together with marches, and popular eighteenth-century dance tunes. The tunes include 'The Merionethshire March' (p. 67), 'Hob o'r Nob' (p. 117), 'The Oswestry March by J. M.' (p. 143), and 'Sweet Richard, Llafar glust lais' (p. 151). The tunes are indexed on pp. 195-9.

Tune book, first compiled in the late eighteenth century, containing anthems, hymn-tunes and psalm-tunes, with some accompanying words in Welsh; ff. 1-20 appear to have been written in the 1840s.

Two tune books now bound as one volume, the first (ff. 1-16) probably compiled in the late eighteenth century and the second (ff. 18-42) by 1800, containing hymn-tunes and psalm-tunes, together with a few englynion and other verse in Welsh (ff. 18 verso-20), and various memoranda.
