A collection of 'halsingod', largely in the hand of David Rees, whose name appears several times in the manuscript, occasionally dated within the period 1738-53. The following authors are recorded within the texts: P. J. (1662, page 51), George Lewis (1690, page 68), a person from 'Llandissil' (1650, page 75), William Nicholas (page 83), Daniel [Rowland, Llangeitho] (1737, pages 103-4), E. W. (page 117), D. J. (1720, page 169), and 'figer llanarth' (1641, page 199). At the end of the volume are an incomplete transcript of a bond of indemnity to the churchwardens and overseers of the poor of the parish of Llandissilio gogo, Cardiganshire in a case of bastardy maintenance, 1745, and entries of the births of Jonathan David, 23 November 1745, and Evan Davies, 6 December 1745.
