Administrative history
Everyone who graduates within the University of Wales becomes a member of the Guild of Graduates. The Guild maintains an active register of members. Its aim is to include as many graduates as possible on the register, to enable them to receive correspondence about the Guild and its activities. The Guild is considered as one of the 'Authorities' of the University and has representations on the University Court, Council, and Central Services Committee. Currently (2004) the Guild has nine sections and seven branches.
