Biographical history
Gododdin was a large scale site-specific production in collaboration with the Test Dept. with a set that had been designed by Clifford McLucas. It premiered in the disused Rover factory in Cardiff and was then performed in Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Scotland. The production was inspired by the Welsh text – Y Gododdin – and sought to re-enact the writer’s text and the Battle of Catraeth.
