Gift by Morgan, son of Cradoc, to the monks of Margam, of land lying adjacent to land he formerly gave to the same, in his marsh [of Avene], whatever is included between that land and their ditch which encloses it, viz. beginning at the way Marchut and reaching to the broad ditch, along that to Cradoc's ditch, then bending by Sanan ditch to the arable land, then it goes down to Pulth-Your; Lheison, his eldest son, swearing on the sacred relics of the Monastery to quitclaim the same. Witnesses:- William de Punchard[on], monk; Jordan and Cnaithur and Robt. Pulmor, conversi of Margam; Maurice the priest; Herbert, son of Palmar; David Pugniel; Robert, son of Palmar. Latin.
