Original bundle of papers relating to the purchase by the Manchester & Milford Railway Co. from George Green of Cilcert, farmer and cattle dealer, of parcels of land numbered 62-64 on the railway company's maps. Most of the papers relate to George Green's title to Wern, p. Llanddewibrefi, purchased from the descendants of Walter Jones of Wernnewydd (d. 1830), including Rev. Richard Jones of Llangynog, co. Mont., and including an abstract of title (1815-1855), June 1865, and letters, May 1865-June 1867.
