Biographical history
Geoffrey L. Fairs was a scientist who took up residence in Hay-on Wye, Brecknockshire, on his retirement. His A History of the Hay was published in 1972.

Arranged into two different groups: major references and secondary references. Within each group the arrangement is that of the chapter headings in the printed work. The entries are further arranged to correspond with sub-headings and then in chronological order.
