Miscellaneous correspondence addressed to the successive secretaries of the Caerphilly CLP, and replies of some outgoing letters. The files also comprise some circular letters and memoranda to ward secretaries and a few copies of minutes of meetings. The papers are much fuller from 1981 and include a large number of communications from the Labour Party and the Labour Party Wales and various trade unions. There is also a substantial group of correspondence deriving from movements such as Amnesty International and CND.
