Title deeds of two messuages called Tuthyn Tuy yn y Tryvel and Yr Esker Wen in the township of Gartheiniog and parish of Mallwyd, 1599-1631. The deeds comprise successive mortgages by John ap Ieuan ap David ap Ieuan of Gartheiniog to William ap John ap Hugh of Cemais, 1599, William ap John ap Hugh of Cemais or Cwm Kelli, 1601, 1613/14, Evan ap Hugh ap David ap Howell of Llanwrin, Montgomeryshire, 1618, Morgan Pughe of Llanwrin, devisee of the previous mortgagee, 1624/5, 1628/9; and a release by John ap Ieuan David ap Ieuan to William Pughe of Llanwrin, 1631. The file also contains the will of Morgan Pughe then of Tal-llyn, devising the properties to his father, Rees Pyw, and naming Rowland Pughe as overseer, 1629. Witnesses to the mortgages include John Lloyd, parson of Mallwyd, 1601
