Miscellaneous papers of Sir Watkin Williams Wynn, mainly of a financial nature, 1870-1880. They comprise mostly printed reports, financial statements and prosectuses of Ruabon Water Company, Ruthin gas Company, Llangollen and Corwen Railway Company, the Vale of Llangollen Railway Company, East and West Junction Railway, Great Western Railway, North Wales Narrow Gauge Railways Co., 1871-1873, and a transfer by Sir Watkin Williams Wynn of shares in Mersey Railway Company, 1880. Other items include horticultural catalogues; a bill of Longueville and Co.’s costs as to a grant for a site for a school at Bangor [Is-coed] 1870; notice of the appointment of the county courts of the No. 7 (Cheshire) Circuit, 1871; contributions to a wedding gift for W.C. West determined at a meeting in the British School House at Llanarmon, 1872; a report of R. Rowlands of Ruthin on the insanitary conditions at properties belonging to W.C. West; the daily share list published by Liverpool Stock Exchange, 1873; and tracings of a map of Bryneithin.
