Dr Peter Wakelin's proposed publication for the 56 Group Wales's fiftieth anniversary was never written. The project was taken over by author and curator David Moore, who published an alternative book for the Group's fifty-sixth anniversary in 2012 entitled A Taste of the Avant-Garde (for which see V/13 (Box 24).
