Scope and content

Three authorized facsimiles of theses published by UMI in 2003 at the request of Eifion Evans, namely 'Stephen Marshall: Preacher to the Long Parliament' by Herbert Harold Hazelip (Doctor of Philosophy thesis, 1967) and 'Views of selected Puritans 1560-1630, on marriage and human sexuality' by Robert Victor Schnucker (Doctor of Philosophy thesis, 1969), both from The University of Iowa; and '"Formerly approved and applauded": the continuity of Edwards's 'Treatise concerning religious affections' with seventeenth-century Puritan analyses of true piety, spiritual sensation and heart-religion' by Brad Walton (Doctor of Theology thesis, Toronto, 1999). The folder containing Brad Walton's thesis includes a copy of a lecture, 2003, on Jonathan Edwards (1703-1758) by Dr Garry J. Williams.
