System of arrangement
Arranged into eight groups of estate administration records: Wynnstay, Vale of Clwyd and Flintshire estates; Merioneth and Caernarfonshire estates; Llangedwyn (Denbighshire parishes) and Llansilin/Glascoed estates; Llwydiarth, Llangedwyn (Montgomeryshire parishes) and other Montgomeryshire estates; Arwystli and Cyfeiliog estate; Oswestry and Llanforda estate; miscellaneous estate and household records; and industrial records. This arrangement has been dictated largely by the existence of the tenancy agreements which form the bulk of this section, as they had already been arranged and numbered by the estate.
