History
Established in 1993 at Abercegir near Machynlleth, Equilibre Horse Theatre set out to present classical riding as a theatrical art form and to explore in a fresh and innovative way the centuries-old relationship between human and horse. As part of its multi-media approach the company has maintained a close collaboration with visual, verbal and performance artists. Equilibre Horse Theatre’s current director is Jane Lloyd Francis.
