Many of the notebooks in this collection were used by T. Gwynn Jones when writing Emrys ap Iwan ... (Caernarfon, 1912), by Evan Roberts when editing Homiliau (2 vols, 1906-1909), and by D. Myrddin Lloyd, editor of Detholiad o Erthyglau a Llythyrau Emrys ap Iwan, published in three volumes (Aberystwyth, 1937-1940).
