Letters to Pryse Loveden (formerly Pryse Pryse) of Gogerddan, 1849-1853, labelled ‘Election matters. Letters from Messr. Hall’. The principal correspondent is Edward Crompton Lloyd Hall of Newcastle Emlyn, discussing election matters in the Cardigan boroughs, emphasising his own neutral stance and the desire to avoid coercion of the tenants, confirmed by letters of Benjamin Edward Hall at Paddington Green and Thomas Lloyd of Coedmor, 1849. A letter by Pryse Loveden refers to his recommendation of Mr Hall for the judgeship of the Glamorgan county courts, 1851.
