Biographical history
Edward Napleton Dew was rector of Hampton Bishop, Herefordshire and translator of Diocese of Hereford. Extracts from the Cathedral Registers. A.D. 1275-1535 (Hereford, 1932).
Archival history
The first six volumes bear the bookplate of the translator ('Ex libris Edwardi N. Dew, S.T.B.').
