Percy J. Dobell and Son were antiquarian booksellers of Charing Cross Road, London, in the early 20th century. The material they acquired in the course of their work included documents relating to the history of Shropshire, Cheshire, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Montgomeryshire and Staffordshire.
Archival history
The documents have been sorted and annotated by an unknown Shropshire antiquarian in the mid nineteenth century, and some may been part of a collection of an earlier antiquary.
