At the beginning is 'A Song in praise of Glamorgan' attributed to Sir John Stradling of St Donats; 'From a MS of the late Wm Roberts of Lancarvan, who told me that he had it from one Mr Bassett of Bonvilston, Grandfather of the present Mr Bassett'. (b) Part of another diary, year not given.
