Deed made between (1) John Matthews of Plas yn Llysfaen, co. Carnarvon, gentleman, and John Maughan of Hitchin, co. Hertford, gentleman, Commissioners in the Act of Parliament, 9 George III, relating to the inclosure of land in the Parish of Bettws - Abergele; (2) John Lloyd Wynne of Coed Coch, co. Denbigh, and (3) John Holland of Teyrdan, same co., for £89 paid by the said J.LL. Wynne, and £801 to the first party by the said J.LL. Wynne, in all £890 paid to the said first party, the said John Matthews and John Maughan as said Commissioners, release to the said John Lloyd Wynne, a parcel of land being part of a common called Mynydd-yr-Cogwin, in the parish aforesaid, comprising two inclosures and a cottage, abutting on a farm called Bryndwda, 94a., 25p., and another allotment of land, part of a common called Allt-felen, same parish, abutting on a road from Gill Llidiart to Llangerniw, a farm called Glyn-Luce, Gwyndu-Ucha and Bron-y-Pistill farm, in trust with specified conditions. Signed by the first party. Witnesses: J. Oldfield, John Matthews of Mold, Edw. Oldfield. Endorsed with receipt for the consideration money; signed and attested as above. Endorsed in a late hand: "Messrs Matthews and Maughan, Commissioners under the Bettws - Abergele Inclosure Act, to John Lloyd Wynne, Esq. Release being a conveyance of allotments in Bettws to pay expences of the Act and of carrying out the same into execution".
