1 Mathew Lamb of Lincolns Inn, Middlesex, esq. 2 Henry, viscount Morpeth, son and heir apparent of Charles Howard, earl of Carlisle. Declaration that 1 has paid £15,000 to 2, has paid £5,000 to Henry, viscount Morpeth, and remains accountable for the remainder of the share of Frances, lady Morpeth, in the personal estate of the said Elizabeth, dowager duchess of Montagu, dec. Recites that administration of the goods of the said Elizabeth was granted to Matthew Lamb for the use of her next of kin, that her personal estate is computed to amount to £138,000 and will be distributed between Henrietta Cavendish Holles, countess of Oxford, Anne, dowager countess of Salisbury, Margaret, lady Clifford, Mary, countess of Harold, Isabella, lady Powlett, and the said Frances, lady Morpeth and that it was agreed in the marriage settlement of the said Henry and Frances, lord and lady Morpeth, that £15,000 of the share of the said Frances should be paid to the said Charles, earl of Carlisle, and the residue should be paid to Richard, viscount Shannon, the surviving trustee of the said settlement.
